Join us at the Wright City Chamber of Commerce’s annual Pump & Run for Scholarships. The goal of this event is to kick up some dust and raise funds to facilitate the future academic success of our students.

The Parks Department organizes Breakfast with Santa every year on the first Saturday in December at Diekroeger Park. The Wright City High School Student Council serves the kids pancakes and fruit for breakfast as the Wright City Fire Protection escorts Santa to the park building. The Strassenbash Queen acts as Santa’s helper handing out Christmas goodies provide by the Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce and Parents As Teachers have crafts ready to create with the children. You kiddos won’t want to miss this fun-filled morning!

Every year, on the first Thursday of December, the Parks Department host the Christmas Parade in downtown Wright City.  The gazebo in the town square is decorated and downtown Chamber business owners get together to provide the crowd with free hot dogs, popcorn, and hot chocolate.  Immediately following the parade the Wright City Fire Protection lights the yuletide log for the annual bonfire and marshmallow roast at Diekroeger Park.  There is always a visit from Santa Claus and The Grinch has even been known to show up!  The Wright City High School Student Council provides free cookies to everyone at the park.  This is a fun family-friendly way to kick-start the holidays!
