Long Row Lavender
Long Row Lavender is a family owned farm located on 15 acres south of Wright City, Missouri. The idea of starting a lavender farm began in 2007 and sprung forth to reality as the first plants were put into the ground in the summer of 2009. Our goal then and now is to bring our family of six closer together; working towards a common purpose. We strive to teach honest work ethic and togetherness while making good use of God’s provisions. We are driven by the purpose outlined in 1 Thessalonians 4:11, “Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before.” Today, the farm includes roughly 1,200 plants encompassing seven varieties which include Provence, Phenomenal, Hidcote Blue, Twickel Purple, Edelweiss, Grosso, and Ellegance Pink. The lavender typically blooms in June making for a beautiful display and harvest. There’s always a great reason to visit the farm; from walking through our lavender rows to sitting awhile on the porch swing. Our gambrel style post and beam barn houses a lovely lavender gift shop filled with handmade products from our farm. The custom-made lavender products include bath and body care, wreaths, sheaves, and sachets. Additionally, you will find unique home decor, herbal teas, and seasonal clothing. We also offer weekly workshops at the barn where local artist teach various classes and workshops. It’s a great way to spend the afternoon with friends!! Please make our little farm part of your getaway destination routine – you can visit our barn and gift shop every Friday and Saturday from 10am-4pm. We expand our summer hours beginning Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend to Wednesday – Saturday from 10am-4pm.
